Abstract:   (3092 Views)

Special study of "the soul food" in the learned persons' works, specifically Mawlana, despite the attraction of the matter, is an open space which has not been thoroughly considered by the group of knowledge seekers. Moreover, if researchers in the domain of literary knowledge and Mawlana interests have studied subjects close to the subject of this thesis, they have either had a brief look at Mawlana's ideas, or the scope of their research is only an angle of the topic located in the circle of "the soul food". "The soul food" comprises all necessary aspects of human beings' spiritual life.

The result of our research in the scope of Mawlana's inheritance showed that in his opinion the man's actual food is intellectual learnings not worldly table-cloths. To sum up, he mentions the most important foods of soul as love, light, praise(to God), music, meeting of friend, sama'a(Sufis' dancing), silence, knowledge, associating with great people, and even Gnostic hunger and sorrow. So, by studying Mawlana's thought examples, we have tried to investigate his ideas, experiences and beliefs in his works which are relevant to the subject of soul food. We have also considered in different ways the manifestation of the mentioned features in Mawlana's mind and language.
