In mystic texts, 'Attitude' usually accompanies 'Mood', and, based on the different approaches of theosophists, they may not be separable. In Islamic culture, the concept, which is called mystic Attitude and Mood,was firstly the ethnic and religious aspects explained in Holly Quran and Prophet's behavior (Sunnat); it gradually could, to different extents, be seen in prophet's disciples and other Muslims. It caused, then,evolutions in believers' spirits, and it, therefore, became an essential factor in mystic approach and entered the realm of mystic expressions.
This articles aims at depicting the evolution of the definition of the very expression 'attitude' and its relationship and closeness with 'mood' in mystic terminology based on the Sufis' texts from beginning to 6th century.In addition to comparing different texts, it will contrast different notions of the scholars in the realm.
