Hamzat ibn Ali Malek Esfarayeni (784-866 A.H) called Sheykh Azari is a mystic poet. Although Azari is known because of his poetry works, but also he has a valuable prose work titled Javaher-ol-Asrar in mysticism. In this article the roots of Azari’s thoughts in Javaher-ol-Asrar has been searched؛ and finally findings show that Quran and Hadith sources, many preceding mystical writings, Ibn Arabi’s School, science of letters and point, Divine inspiration, and Shah Nemat-Allah Vali are the main roots of Azari’s thoughts in writing Javaher-ol-Asrar.
